About the Hospital: St. Luke’s Health System is a not-for-profit, integrated health system based out of Boise, Idaho. Their 475 bed ‘flagship’ facility, St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center has been nationally recognized for excellence in patient care, including Top 5% ranking of American Hospitals, Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals, and has earned Magnet Recognition 4 times, with a fifth to come in 2019.
About the Position: The Interim CNO will have overall accountability of providing leadership, direction, and administration of day-to-day strategic operations associated with direct patient care activities and clinical education and development, including continuous improvement of nursing services and staff to meet the needs and expectations of those served by the hospital, while maintaining a high level of visibility at the facility, region and system levels. The Interim CNO will be a strong communicator with all partners, while focusing on further growth within the system. Successful candidates will understand the complexity of a 400 bed Tertiary center. They will be actively involved in mentoring and coaching a great team of Sr. Directors and partnering with the system CNO to standardize practice as hospitals within the system are becoming more acute.
Salary: Salary - DOE, 4-6 month assignment, housing, rental car and a trip home every three weeks.
- BSN, Master’s prepared, DNP preferred.
- Idaho Nursing License,
- Qualified candidates must have prior 3-5 years experience as a CNO or VP PCS working in a Matrixed Healthcare System in Tertiary hospitals 400 beds or greater,
- 5-10 years of CNO or VP PCS experience, required.
- Recent Interim in a similar position,
- Experience with EPIC Optimization, Compensation Redesign and Magnet Re-designation, strongly preferred.
