Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the oversight of the Infusion Service Line which includes staff, operations and delivery of care
  • Works collaboratively across all disciplines to provide operationally sound processes and procedures 
  • Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of medications, IV fluids, infusion pumps, and other equipment necessary for infusion therapy
  • Develop and manage the infusion department budget, including revenue projections, expense forecasting, and cost containment strategies
  • Develop and update policies and procedures related to infusion therapy
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and software systems to streamline infusion processes, enhance documentation accuracy, and improve communication within the department and across the hospital


Qualifications 

  • BSN, Masters preferred
  • Chemotherapy certified, OCN preferred 
  • RN license
  • BLS, ACLS
