Exciting Opportunity: Production Supervisor - Night Shift (6PM-6AM)

Basic Function: As a Production Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the efficient production of daily and weekly orders. Your mission: lead the team to meet production expectations while maintaining a safe and vibrant work environment.

 

Major Essential Functions:

  • Energize and coordinate activities among our dedicated team.
  • Propel us towards meeting shift deadlines and objectives.
  • Foster employee relations, enforce policies, and champion a culture of discipline.
  • Champion company standards for GMP's, SQF & FDA.
  • Be a safety advocate, maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Coach, recruit, and motivate the team, driving continuous improvement.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate codes for orders with flair.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure raw materials are ready for action.
  • Keep the stocking area organized for seamless inventory counting.
  • Showcase your prowess in using production management software and equipment.

 

Working Relationships:

  • Directly report to the Superintendent and collaborate with other dynamic production supervisors and the Operations Team.

 

Exciting Job Requirements:

  • Experience with yeast-raised sweet breads, ideally in a wholesale bakery.
  • Hands-on dynamism, lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Stamina to stand for extended periods, coupled with flexibility to reach, bend, stoop, and squat frequently.
  • Tech-savvy with advanced decision-making skills.
  • Superior communication skills to ignite excitement.
  • Safety-oriented, reporting incidents promptly.
  • Proficiency using JD Edwards, SAP, IR scanner guns is a thrilling bonus.
  • Showcase your advanced organizational skills.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Benefits: Exciting perks, including 401(k) matching, dental insurance, employee discount, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, referral program, and vision insurance.

 

Exciting Schedule:

  • 5-6 12-hour shifts per week, 6 PM to 6 AM
  • Opportunities for overtime and bonuses

 

Exciting Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
  • Experience: 5 years in Manufacturing Management (Preferred)
