Our client is a Managing General Agency that has a 10+ year track record of success in starting and building programs. 

 

We are looking for a motivated Property Underwriter to launch a brand new Commercial Property program.  It is off to a great start with a solid E&S Carrier (A- rating) as it's paper.  

 

In addition, there has already been success with writing business and a team of junior talent hired.  We are looking for someone who can advance this program & team to the next level including leadership of the staff and eventually program.

 

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience in property insurance and a progressive track record.  As part of this initial phase, you'll actively contribute to building internal SOPs and workflows.  Additionally, you will have visibility into the launch of the MGA, gaining insights into expanding authority with current carrier partners and securing additional reinsurance support.
