These individuals will work on Process development, Application development, or Operational support of our client's 3D-printing technology. 3D-Printing is believed by many to be on the cusp of an Industrial revolution. Unprecedented design freedom for affordable investment is leading to an explosion in creativity, rapid-prototyping speed, light weight structures and a host of new applications for investigation within the Healthcare industry.
They are looking to bring a top level Senior Program/Project Manager talent to join their diverse team of engineers, scientists and innovative thinkers to advance prototyping and automation of medical devices using 3D printing. This position will work on projects after prototyping is complete to manage multiple projects with key stakeholders and team members to determine the cost effectiveness of products prototypes and create efficiencies in moving to manufacturing. This is a high visibility role for a VISIONARY to oversee high-level projects that will make a significant impact on the medical device market. You will work extensively with Product Development, Quality and Operations to take a product from design concept through production ramp up using high-level energy sources to create unique porous structures through 3D printing.
The Right Talent:
BS in Engineering or related Science w/ 8 years of exp/Masters with 5 years/PhD with 2 years
Must have extensive experience in project/program management in a highly regulated industry: Medical Device, Automotive or Aerospace preferred
Must have experience with projects from concept to manufacturing
Experience with FMEA, GD&T, CAD, FEA, V&V, Gauge Design & Inspection, DFM, ISO, FDA, Six Sigma, Automation, GR&R, DOE, SPC
Must be an innovator, creative thinker and work well in a team
Great PMP skills and the ability to lead projects with indirect authority
Demonstrated experience with Material testing and characterization for metals or polymers highly desired
Demonstrated experience in Additive Manufacturing or 3D printing equipment and standard software
Demonstrated mastery of manufacturing processes such as additive manufacturing and associated equipment and software, casting, forging, or coatings.
