Project Manager – Milton, ON - Canada

 

Our client, a global leading supplier to the automotive and transportation fluids market, located in Milton, Ontario is actively seeking a Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing the project management process, defining project plans and ensuring that the team is able to execute with excellence. This position will work collaboratively with all functional areas of the company to define and execute projects according to customer requirements.  

 

Project Manager Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement project management practices.
  • Maintain and continuously improve project management process.
  • Provide project management support as needed elsewhere in the company.
  • Craft unique solutions to changing company needs and best manage projects from ideation to launch.
  • Develop institutional knowledge of project management skills, processes and software.
  • Responsible for maintaining a basic understanding of all functional areas of the company including technical, marketing, production, finance, sales, and quality.
  • Utilize process and excellent communication skills to ensure that the project team fully understands and can execute project scope.
  • Hold team accountable, ensuring that they are meeting deadlines and completing commitments to the best of their abilities.
  • Assist in training new hires in project process.
  • Act as a knowledge resource for organization.

 

Project Manager Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering preferred
  • Five years of experience in project management
  • PMP Certification
  • Established PMP professional capable of leading large portfolio of commercial and B2B products.
  • Understanding of liquid blending and filling operations, processes, and procedures.
  • Able to lead across multiple disciplines and management levels
  • Substantial background in commercial and B2B consumable products.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management programs
  • Understanding of quality assurance, analytical process, and procedures.
  • Strong sense of customer service with internal and external customers.
  • Strong communication skills.
