A well-established and employee-owned general contractor based in Middle Tennessee is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join its growing team. Known for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects, this firm takes pride in its people-first culture, collaborative leadership, and strong reputation across the region.
What You’ll Do
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring commercial and industrial construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and up to spec. You'll manage all aspects of the build process, from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong focus on communication, efficiency, and teamwork.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
- Draft and manage subcontracts and purchase orders
- Process monthly pay applications and review change orders
- Approve vendor and subcontractor invoices
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, design teams, subcontractors, and field supervision
- Champion project safety, quality, and productivity from start to finish
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a PM in commercial or industrial construction
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and decision-making skills
- Clear, confident communication and strong client relationship skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Procore, Vista, P6 Scheduling, Timberline
