Bank Business Risk Manager - Liquidity

Our client is building out a relatively new Liquidity Risk Management team and this role is responsible for First Line of Defense risk management. Their primary focal point is on business continuity planning as well as incident response. The ideal background is someone that has experience managing, coordinating, tracking, and eventually reporting on all types of risk incidents within the bank, large or small. Some of these may be operational incidents, others technology related. The reporting would be succinct, factual reports, identifying what caused the issues and will provide an action plan so executive management can easily follow up to make sure it’s remedied. To get the support you need, you will partner with leadership in Liquidity Risk, Business Risk, and summarily the Second Line of Defense as well as IT leadership.
The Continuity Planning aspect of this role is critical as well. You will be tasked with coordinating enterprise-wide participation in business continuity development, testing, and making sure the various business lines are following appropriate protocols.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Master’s Degree, banking expertise, three to five years of risk management expertise, primarily with business continuity plans.
