They have an exceptional opportunity for a Process Analyzer Engineer to serve as their Subject Matter Expert for the refinery’s analyzer program.

 

What You Will Do:  In this role, you will serve as the key leader and Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the refinery analyzer program, working with the Environmental Department, Operations Department, and Analyzer technicians to maintain the reliability of the refinery environmental analyzer system. This includes troubleshooting, root cause analysis, CEMS daily validations, upgrading analyzers, developing new applications, and providing day to day supervisory support for 7 analyzer technicians, promoting teamwork, purpose, professionalism, and pride of craftsmanship.

Education and Experience You Will Bring:  A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Instrumentation and 3-5 years of experience with integrated analyzer systems and knowledge of many different types of process analyzer measurements, knowledge of chemistry and physics regarding gas and fluid dynamics, and basic refinery operations experience and hands-on approach to design and problem-solving.

While not required, familiarity with advanced analyzers and data acquisition systems is beneficial. (Raman spectroscopy, Mass Spectrometers, flare emission monitoring)
