Role and Responsibilities

  • Exceed annual software sales target
  • Very hands-on
  • Develop a business plan in first 30 days
  • Focus on new license sales
  • Sell complex enterprise digital marketing solution
  • Demonstrate exceptional complimentary service
  • Develop other sales reps and ensure they exceed their quotas
  • Quickly expand territory
  • Work effectively with partner community as appropriate
  • Develop integrated enterprise sales strategies within vertical and territory accounts and targets
  • Be a true evangelist
  • Report to global head of sales

 

Requirements 

  • Minimum 10 years of successful enterprise software sales experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Understand digital experience (i.e.: digital content / digital marketing / e-commerce)
  • Understand and able to successfully drive complex, enterprise software sales engagements
  • Act entrepreneurially. Must be hands-on.  Actively involved at all levels of the sales cycle
  • Ability to outmaneuver competition and move quickly
  • Be hungry and deal oriented
  • Successful experience working in start-up environment (preferred)
  • Success working in a fast-paced small or mid-sized company
  • Understand the nature of an enterprise sale, how to develop an executive account / opportunity strategy and work with and manage a virtual enterprise sales team to include business consulting executives, sales engineering resources
  • Sense of urgency and competitiveness
  • Self-starter and energetic
  • Able to work strategically and independently, but report and collaborate as required
  • Coach / mentor sales team.
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
