Join the one of the top ranked hospitals in the nation for Cardiology and Heart Surgery by U.S. News & World Report. You’ll have the support of a large faith based, non-profit system, but truly impact patient care on a personal level.
No one likes a bragger, but when the Society of Thoracic Surgeons awarded 3 stars to this campus in all three surgical categories, you can’t help but turn heads. This campus has also been awarded the Pinnacle of Excellence Award® and the Guardian of Excellence Award® as well.
This Magnet campus has 9 ORs (potential for a 10th) and cranks out 325 cases a month. They do 1900 CABG cases a year, 600 Vascular cases a year, and do around 250 TAVRS a year as well. You would have 80 FTEs and strong support staff to back you. With a 97% patient satisfaction rating, you have to balance patient AND employee satisfaction like a surgical superstar.
You should be able to work with the docs in a way that is firm but fair, old school in ways but not be a tyrant. You must be an effective communicator, team builder and cannot be passive in dealing with situations.
Do you hold staff accountable?
Do you follow through to completion?
Are you motivated and gung-ho?
If you’re a steward leader and can work with one of the best teams in the country…. this job is for you!
