Director of Trauma Program

Western United States

 

Hospital:  250+ bed Trauma Center that has been serving the community for over 125 years with cutting edge healthcare and research.  This hospital has a positive internal culture and great engagement scores.

 

Position:   This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and administration for the operations of the Trauma department.  Which sees patients from cardiac unit, NICU, orthopedics, behavioral health, skilled nursing and acute rehab.  Oversight and direction of Trauma related activities and initiate changes internally and externally that will promote optimal trauma care.  This position works closes with the Trauma Medical Director to qualify all care issues to optimize patient care.

Education/Experience:

  • BSN,
  • Master’s,
  • Current Nursing License, required
  • 5+ clinical experience in multi-disciplinary trauma services,
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience,
  • Experience working through Trauma Accreditation or worked as a Trauma coordinator/PI,
  • Experience with moving from a Level III to a Level II Trauma center, strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS and TNCC Certifications,
