JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

  • Develop budgets ( including full participation in pre- construction process)
  • Develop cost estimates based on unit costs, plan and analyze takeoffs
  • Develop scopes of work, perform analysis of hard bids
  • Create and manage budgets
  • Maintain sub-contractor relations
  • Maintain up-to-date records and bids
  • Maintain organized and accurate drawings
  • Compile associated Hand-Off Package
  • Support all Project Managers
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders (Owners, Engineers, Subcontractors, Etc.)

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • BS in Architecture, Construction Management  or equivalent; 6+ years of construction experience
  • 3+ years of Project Management and Estimating and experience and 1+ years of in-house design experience. 
  • Carlson Takeoffs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Viewpoint Construction Accounting Software are needed.
  • OSHA 10 certification. 
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Physics, Mathematics, and Structures.
  • Valid driver’s license.
