Is Customer Service your area of expertise?  Are you a passionate customer advocate? Our client, a leader and grower of sustainable and organically grown fresh produce, is searching for an Assistant Sales Manager-Customer Service. This position is located onsite in Thermal, CA. 

The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for overall accountability in managing Customer Service and overall logistics for daily sales as well as achieving, meeting, and maintaining high customer service levels. The position reports directly to the National Sales Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the General Manager, Sales Manager, Purchasing, Packing/Shipping, and Production Team
  • Assist in monitoring and achieving targets by maintaining the proper balance between team-oriented participation and individual performance
  • The position works closely with Production and Procurement leaders to produce maximum performance in achieving sales targets at an economical cost
  • The position is the center point for communicating information received from various departments and redirecting to all departments involved

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Customer Service role or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in a supervisor or management position
  • Experience in managing customer accounts
  • Fresh produce experience a plus
  • Experience using Microsoft 365
  • Advanced experience in Excel
  • Experience in Data Analytics end to end (i.e... Power BI and Tableau)
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a team player with leadership skills with an ability to resolve conflict
  • Exceptional Organizational and Management skills are required

This position is full time and located onsite at headquarters in Thermal, CA

 

Salary Range: $62,440-$75,000
