A Japanese manufacturer with offices in Blue Ash, Ohio is looking for a Sales Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a PARTTIME, Direct Hire role.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Answers main telephone system, makes referrals, takes messages, takes orders, quotes, and directs incoming calls appropriately.
  • Prepare quotes, and orders based on the requests of customers.
  • Follows up with clients as needed via email, phone, fax, etc.
  • Management of inventory, samples, documents, and catalogs. (Receiving and inspecting products)
  • Maintenance and repair of products and samples.
  • Maintain and improve warehouse system and procedure.
  • Prepares shipments of products, samples, marketing material and documents to customers.
  • Prepares and posts accounting documents such as fees, receipts, invoices, requisitions, vouchers, expense accounts, and related operating reports, accounts payable, and bookkeeping.
  • Greets clients and visitors when managers are not in the office, serves drinks and clean up, does general housekeeping, and tidies the office.
  • Revise and proofread catalogs, manuals, other documents, and online information to ensure these documentations are devoid of typographical and grammatical errors and check for accuracy and consistency.
  • Orders and tracks inventory of office supplies and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Fluency in Japanese is required.
  • Previous experience working for a Tier I or Tier II Automotive company is desirable, but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong leadership ability are required.
  • Must have strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Able to work in a multicultural work environment.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with all levels of the organization.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Powerpoint.

 

Work Environment/Conditions:

Office: Open Office Environment, moderate noise level.

Location: Blue Ash, Ohio

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8AM-5PM

Plant: Necessary to follow safety protocols and procedures in our and our customer plants. Important to interact with all levels of specialists, team leaders and department managers.

Travel: No Traveling
