Channel Marketing Manager
Charlotte, NC | Full-Time | In-Office 4 days
Our client, a well-established consumer electronics company, is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to help drive growth across retail, distribution, Amazon, and direct-to-consumer channels. This role will work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to develop and execute channel-specific programs that increase product visibility, support new product launches, and drive sell-through.
The ideal candidate understands how to translate broader brand and product strategies into effective programs for individual retail and e-commerce channels. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working across multiple accounts, products, and priorities in a fast-paced consumer products environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and programs for retail, distribution, Amazon, and e-commerce channels.
- Partner closely with Sales to support key accounts with presentations, sell sheets, product content, competitive insights, launch materials, and other sales enablement tools.
- Support new product launches and go-to-market initiatives, coordinating across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations.
- Manage or support Amazon and e-commerce execution, including product detail pages, A+ content, imagery, promotions, digital shelf content, and retail media initiatives.
- Develop retailer-specific promotions, campaigns, merchandising programs, and seasonal marketing plans.
- Support retailer line reviews, category reviews, assortment presentations, and other key customer initiatives.
- Coordinate promotional calendars around key selling periods such as Prime Day, back-to-school, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and holiday.
- Ensure product content, specifications, imagery, messaging, and marketing assets are accurate and consistent across channels.
- Monitor channel performance using metrics such as sell-through, conversion, promotional lift, ROAS, inventory, and overall account performance.
- Manage relationships with internal teams, retail partners, distributors, agencies, and other external partners as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve channel performance, product visibility, and the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in channel, retail, shopper, trade, e-commerce, product, or consumer marketing.
- Experience supporting physical consumer products sold through retail and/or e-commerce channels.
- Experience working with major retailers, distributors, Amazon, or other online marketplaces strongly preferred.
- Understanding of product launches, go-to-market strategy, promotions, digital shelf content, and retail marketing.
- Ability to analyze sales and marketing performance and turn data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple products, accounts, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with Sales and cross-functional teams.
- Consumer electronics, technology, accessories, appliances, tools, or other consumer products experience is a plus.
