We are currently searching for an experienced Claims Examiner in Phoenix, AZ.

Our client is an A+ rated E&S carrier serving niche insurance markets & shouldering the risks, so their clients have the security to create, explore, grow and prosper.

 

Highlights of this role:

  • You will handle a very manageable caseload of high-severity/low frequency claims.
  • You will work in an entrepreneurial environment and be expected to have an “Ownership Mentality” giving you a lot of authority to make business decisions as you see fit.
  • Claims Examiner will be responsible for conducting proactive investigation, risk transfer, claim handling, attorney management, and claims resolutions.
  • You will work closely with Defense Counsel on developing appropriate litigation strategy and be very involved in deep and thorough claims investigations.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2-5 years of experience handling complex Commercial General Liability, Excess and other Casualty Claims
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills allowing you to work effectively with insureds, claimants, underwriters, and upper management.
