We have a great opportunity for a Commercial Relationship Manager with a track record of developing CRE and/or C&I lending relationships in the Finger Lakes Region.  Our client is a community-minded bank with a solid understanding of the current market.  Initially, they are asking this person to manage, service, and grow an existing portfolio.  Then, once lending activities increase, the goals for this person will be both realistic, and achievable.  If you want to join a bank that can offer the opportunity to advance your career as the bank grows, this could be a great fit for you! 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, service, and expand an existing portfolio of commercial loans, with a focus on Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and/or Commercial and Industrial (C&I) lending.
  • Develop and maintain profitable relationships with businesses in the Finger Lakes Region.
  • Provide direct input into the credit process and ensure adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with a local team to optimize support and focus on new business development.
  • Uphold the bank's commitment to serving customers ethically and responsibly.

Requirements:

  • 4-5+ years of proven experience in generating commercial loans, specifically in CRE and/or C&I lending.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Commercial Credit and lending principles.
  • Established track record of building successful relationships within the Finger Lakes Region.
  • Strong network of Centers of Influence (COIs) to facilitate business development.
  • Ability to effectively manage and grow an existing loan portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with all bank policies and regulatory standards.
