Senior Tax Associate

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and qualified Senior Tax Associate to join our client's growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review complex international tax returns for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Analyze international tax data and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their international business activities and tax goals.
  • Provide tailored tax advice in a clear and concise manner, ensuring clients comprehend complex tax concepts.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize clients' international tax positions through strategic tax planning.
  • Work with clients and internal teams to implement tax-efficient structures for their international operations.
  • Conduct in-depth research on international tax issues and emerging trends, providing well-supported recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and evolving international tax regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in international tax within a public accounting firm (preferred).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of international tax regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax research tools (a plus).
