Company Overview
Our client is a rapidly growing development company operating within the data center industry, supporting large-scale development projects across multiple markets. The organization offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment with significant exposure to complex construction and development activity.

 

Position Overview
The Development Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and project support across a portfolio of active development projects. This individual will play an important role in keeping contracts, invoices, vendor documentation, project reporting, compliance records, and internal workflows organized and moving efficiently.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, technologically savvy, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple projects and systems simultaneously. This person should be able to work independently while partnering closely with Development Managers, contractors, consultants, vendors, Accounting, and other internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the routing, execution, tracking, and maintenance of contracts, amendments, purchase orders, and other project documentation
  • Manage invoice workflows, including reviewing invoices for accuracy, appropriate project allocation, supporting documentation, and contract alignment
  • Maintain vendor records, Certificates of Insurance, compliance documentation, and other required project information
  • Prepare and maintain recurring project reports, presentations, meeting minutes, action-item tracking, and Development team documentation
  • Maintain accurate project data across accounting, project management, document management, and other technology platforms
  • Coordinate with Development Managers, contractors, consultants, vendors, Accounting, and internal departments across multiple active projects
  • Support vendor onboarding and assist with resolving invoice, documentation, and project-related issues
  • Assist Development leadership with meeting coordination, scheduling, travel, correspondence, and other department needs
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, documentation, reporting, and workflow efficiency
  • Support project meetings, site visits, department events, and other Development-related activities as needed

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in construction, general contracting, real estate development, project coordination, or a related environment preferred
  • Experience with contract administration, construction administration, project coordination, or similar responsibilities
  • Experience supporting invoice processing, accounts payable, vendor management, or job-cost-related functions
  • Strong technological aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and work across multiple software platforms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Procore or similar construction/project management software experience preferred
  • Strong reporting, organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities while working effectively within a cross-functional team
  • General contractor, construction, or data center experience is a plus
