This company is growing and in acquisition mode expansion. The company is looking for a strong HR Professional with corporate and plant level experience.  

 

HERE IS WHAT THEY WANT 

You should be able to work with the senior team with initiatives such as acquisitions, benefits, compensation - total rewards, but at the same time, willing to roll up your sleeve's and work with your HR Manager Reports in the plants. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of human resources, including employee relations, benefits, training, talent acquisition, and facility-level recruitment. You will have direct reports of HR Managers in each plant and a corporate support staff. 

 

  • Manage the HR staff several direct reports including plant HR managers, generalist, payroll and assistant.
  • Recruit great talent for the plant and HQ Operations
  • Minimize turnover.
  • Create career pathing modules.
  • Enhance skills and training.
  • Develop compensation strategies.
  • Manage succession planning.
  • Maintain employee records.
  • Process payroll.
  • Stay compliant with regulations.
  • Resolve complaints and grievances.
  • Handle recruitment and onboarding.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 year college degree in HR-business or another related field of study
  • 8 years of experience as an HR Manager or Director in a manufacturing facility and at a corporate level.
  • prefer FDA (food-Pharma-Consumer-etc)  but will consider other manufacturing environments.
  • Experienced in all facets of HR including; employee relations, training, talent acquisition, development, and facility-level recruitment.
  • Proven success in managing an HR team and leading next generation HR initiatives
  • Experience working with senior management on strategy, acquisitions, benefits negotiation, and management.
