Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the strategic oversight and day-to-day operations in the department 
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all nursing, administrative, and related technical activities to ensure care of all patients 
  • Demonstrates professional practice and behavior, being competent in all areas under their direction, and actively supporting the mission, vision, and values of the organization
  • Must be involved in community events, and inspire staff to participate

Qualifications 

  • BSN preferred
  • Graduate from a Board approved nursing program with current licensure as a registered nurse in the state 
  • 5 years recent obstetrical clinical experience
  • At least 3 years of management/leadership experience
  • Current BLS and NRP training; fetal monitoring certification
  • ACLS
