The Director of National Sales and Business Development will be responsible for managing the retail business for an emerging brand. The responsibilities include national account management and developing broker relationships, defining the retail growth strategy and innovation pipeline, owning the retail sales P&L, and effective collaboration with the marketing and eCommerce team. This position will own the sales strategy and manage the retail relationships. Some of the primary responsibilities include:
• Retail expert advising the organization on the path to market through each channel of retail
• Development of key metrics of success to define the brand’s retail sales story
• Persistence in follow up and aggressive pursuit of relationships and opportunities
• Responsible for achieving profit and growth targets
