                         Market Manager (Business Development)

What do you need to accomplish in this key role?


*Manage major key accounts in a defined Midwest region including identifying and developing new business opportunities

*Create a strategic and tactical plan to enhance both existing and new business initiatives within the region

*Utilize consultive sales techniques through the sales process that emphasize enhanced value in solving customer needs and issues

*Successfully develop long term agreements that strike a balance in short and long term growth strategies

*Continually provide updates to leadership utilizing metrics that provide a clear understanding of the present and future pipeline of business


Winning this opportunity means you bring……


*A minimum of 5-10 years of successful sales experience to the Food, Beverage and Packaging markets

*A minimum of a BA/BS degree in business or related field with an MBA a plus

*Proven negotiation skills that have produced a history of meeting sales and profit targets

*Outstanding communication skills both oral and written

*The ability to effectively enhance relationships at all business levels including buyers, engineers, operations and executive teams

*The ability to travel occasionally to key accounts in the Midwest

*Proficiency with Microsoft products and the ability to extract key information from ERP systems
