Opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)!

 

Role Overview:
Currently seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join its dynamic team. The PTA will work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to provide treatments and support to patients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer treatments as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of physical therapy equipment.
  • Complete mandatory training programs to stay current with healthcare practices.
  • Document patient progress and treatments in the electronic medical record system.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must possess a current PTA license in the state of Texas.
  • Experience with or knowledge of treating individuals with severe mental illness is preferred.

 

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with an unpaid lunch break)
  • Flexible hours may be required to accommodate patient needs.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a valid photo ID and American Heart Association CPR certification.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Card (if applicable).
  • Must pass a urine drug screen and background check.
  • Must clear FBI fingerprint background check
