Sales Engineer - market-leading developer of a cyber-security platform for ERP, as well as other business-critical applications, is seeking sales engineer to manage the technical evaluation stage with the sales team for the northeast region.  The sales engineering role presents product features, gathers requirements, assess customer needs, lead POCs and troubleshoots potential integration issues. The SE will need to position the product and business value at both technical and business levels and require technical proficiency and excellent communication skills. The position is the subject matter expert on the solution and the technical point person for the sales team.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Sales technical lead participating in presentations and articulating product value
  • Assess customer needs and respond to customer inquiries
  • Be the technical point person during the sales cycle
  • Conduct POC engagements
  • Convery customer requirements to product management teams
  • Participate as the technical resource at conference, seminars and trade shows
  • Remain current on the competitive landscape

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Prior pre-sales engineering experience within cyber or IAM security
  • Background in ERP or SAP is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 50% in the northeastern territory
  • Ability to work in a fast pace early start-up environment
