With a strong foothold in the United States, our client is set to open a 3 GW solar panel manufacturing facility in Texas, further expanding its reach in the U.S. market. The company has successfully delivered over 50 MW of solar modules to major Fortune 500 companies in the U.S., demonstrating its commitment to quality and innovation. Globally, they boast an impressive 12 GW of manufacturing capacity and a proven track record in solar EPC projects, contributing significantly to sustainable energy solutions worldwide.

 

The Senior Quality Engineer will be at the forefront of ensuring and elevating the quality of solar modules. This key role involves crafting and implementing comprehensive quality assurance programs and overseeing quality control throughout the manufacturing process. In this role, they will work alongside cross-functional departments to identify and resolve quality issues, refine manufacturing processes, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, they will collaborate with suppliers to assess and enhance their quality performance, ensuring that the supply chain meets the highest standards of excellence.

 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality engineering or assurance within the solar module manufacturing industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of solar module manufacturing processes, materials, and industry technologies.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS), statistical process control (SPC), and other quality assurance methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Experience in managing supplier quality, including conducting audits and driving improvement initiatives.

Salary range: $100-120k + Bonus
