One of our clients, a global leader in the Consumer Goods industry, has engaged us to find a leader for their global IT infrastructure and security teams. The incumbent will be replacing the existing VP who is moving into a new role. The VP will be leading and actively participating in the architecture and deployment of their strategic and innovative global IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security programs. The Role

The VP will lead the IT infrastructure, IT operations, and security organization and be an active participant in the development, implementation, and management of their initiatives. The position will be responsible for leading the IT Infrastructure, IT Operations Support, and Cybersecurity functions. This includes their digital transformation, cloud initiatives, security enhancement programs, and alignment of global IT infrastructure initiatives.

• Leading and inspiring a global IT organization responsible for the global expansion, continuing enhancement, and overall IT operations/support.
• Planning, establishing, and realizing the global strategy for IT infrastructure and security.
• Leveraging the latest Agile, Cloud, Devops, and Cybersecurity technologies to support the needs of the global business.
• Acting as an IT technology partner for business teams across the organization
• Planning and managing the budget for IT projects, maintenance, operating expenses, and capital expense

Qualifications

• Must have at least 15 years of experience managing and leading IT teams responsible for infrastructure, and systems and end user support
• Must have at least 7+ years of experience in leading global IT organizations
• Must have a collaborative management style (ability to lead, manage, coach, mentor and develop employees).
• Must have an excellent understanding of current and emerging technologies (e.g., Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity)
• Must be an excellent team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems
• Must have excellent analytical skills - strong problem-solving skills; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
• Must be change oriented - actively generates process improvements; supports and drives change and innovation; fosters an agile/nimble IT organization.
• Experience in the following is preferred: experience with IT/OT integration; experience in the consumer products / consumer goods industry
• Travel ~10% (domestic and international travel as needed), while leveraging collaboration tools to enhance productivity (video conferencing, etc.)
• A Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s degree a plus
