Join this large global raw material specialty chemical company in a strategic sales position in the Southeastern U.S.  This is a home-based position, ideally located in Atlanta, GA, but Greenville, SC is also possible.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and entrepreneurial global chemical company.  It’s also a solid income opportunity. Overnight travel is approximately 20%.

Responsibilities: Sell a broad range of raw material specialty chemicals, such as; additives, pigments, resins, etc., to the CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) and other industrial markets in the region (SC and GA).  This is technical selling. There would also be prospecting and cold calling responsibilities to develop new accounts and opportunities.  Manage all pricing and account strategies. Travel overnight as needed.

Requirements: 4+ years’ experience selling raw material specialty chemicals and/or additives. A background selling to the CASE markets would be a plus.  A Bachelor’s Degree is required, and a technical degree in Chemistry or related discipline is strongly preferred. Must be a “hunter” for new business. Strong computer skills. Willingness to travel overnight as needed.

Company Information: Large global raw material specialty chemical company.

Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.  Plus, annual bonus:  up to 25% of base salary linked to KPIs (key performance indicators).  Plus, a percentage of margin dollar growth over budget.  There is no cap on the amount that can be earned that is tied to margin dollar growth.  Generous car allowance.  Strong benefits.  Opportunities for advancement.
