We are looking for an experienced Senior level Process Engineer to be responsible for the process design, operation, and implementation. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability. Mechanical Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers would feel at home in this role.


You will be working for a company that is developing many different types of films that have a wide variety of product applications. The culture is a very collaborative environment with a tight knit team. They are consistently developing new products, and the process engineers are critical in the development of those process in relation to all departments with a unique patented manufacturing process.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Process Control expertise through the use of statistics
    • Assist in the implementation of SPC across all manufacturing lines
    • Utilize Minitab for data modeling and data analytics
  • Develop Work Instructions
    • Write new procedures and work methods for operators
  • Troubleshoot Manufacturing Issues
    • Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Be a part of plant support for production trials
    • Communicate across all departments
    • Be a liaison for Operations, R/D, and Quality
  • Provide process engineering leadership in process evaluation development and optimization
  • Scale-up process development

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
  • 7+ Years of Manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Statistical Analysis/Statistical Process Control Experience
  • Experimental Design Experience
  • Web Handling Experience
  • Basic PC skills, including Excel and Visio
