The Continuous Improvement Manager will be joining a $2 billion dollar manufacturing company with manufacturing and distribution operations nationally.  They are going through the first phase of implementing a Continuous Improvement program to transform their operations nationally.  

 

There is a need to ensure consistency across the operations nationally, and this CI Manager will be involved in the full lifecycle of this transformation in an entrepreneurial environment.

 

The CI Manager will be working on all aspects of the organization within all departments.  There is a particular need to make changes in Vendor Managed Inventory programs, KanBan, Distribution Center consistency,  warehousing, customer service and other areas for 25 facilities nationally and Mexico.

 

The CI Manager we are seeking will have the following experience, and education:

 

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Current Experience as a CI Manager or Leader
  • Experience in large Distribution Operations 
  • Lean | Continuous Improvement practitioner experience
  • Program Development and Implementation Experience
  • Ability to travel to other sites.
  • Spanish Speaking Skills desirable, not required.

The CI Manager will be tasked with implementing Continuous Improvement programs to support 25 facilities Nationally, each with different challenges in their operations since each location supplies an array of OEM Customers with specific needs and requirements.
