Client Overview 

  • A leading manufacturer and distributor of construction equipment sold through industrial and rental distribution channels
  • Known for designing and manufacturing a comprehensive range of high quality and safe equipment backed by a strong level of customer service
  • US manufacturing with headquarters in a centrally located Midwest great lakes metro area

Position Overview

  • Responsible for leading a business unit team consisting of marketing, sales, engineering and customer service groups
  • Prepare, develop, and implement strategic sales and marketing plans for new and existing products
  • Lead strategic initiatives to grow the business unit’s top and bottom line results
  • Oversee business unit budgeting, sales forecasting and marketing goals
  • Manage direct and independent representative sales teams

Candidate Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business required; MBA is preferred
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in an industrial B2B marketing management capacity
  • At least 3 years of people management experience preferably in a matrix organization
  • Experience working with and developing national account business is a big plus
  • Ability to create a big picture vision coupled with a drive to generate results in a team oriented setting
  • Interest in working in a “hands on” leadership capacity within a growing organization
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without restrictions
